Updated: Feb 13

We have made the first of what we hope will be a regular series of podcasts and webinars for EBSWA members and guests to discuss evidence based practice in the area of sex and gender.

In this first podcast, members Charles, Maggie, Robin, Sarah and Emma are discussing how the welfare and best interests principles of the Children Act 89 (England and Wales) and 95 (Scotland) have been ignored in the rush to affirm gender identity in children, and how they can be used to promote and defend evidence based practice. Robin briefly recapped the main points he made on https://open.substack.com/pub/robincarling/p/first-principles and the discussion took off.

Please send us your comments on this, and also suggestions for future topics.
